Barton Village, a 153 single family home Development of Public Housing, is interspersed among homes not owned by the housing authority. Several units owned by the Housing Authority are currently undergoing renovations. Barton Village has a new Community Center, constructed by the Augusta Housing Authority, which is used by the Augusta-Richmond County Weed and Seed Program.
