Public Housing Drug Elimination Program for use with Drug Elimination programs in Augusta's Public Housing Communities. This program has been converted from a competitive grant to a part of housing authority's operating funds. These funds make possible security improvements, positive youth activities and resident activities. Artscape Camp Offering  summer art activities to public housing youth in cooperation with the Greater Augusta Arts Council. Resident Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency - A  3 year grant for services to elderly and disabled residents including Brown Bag food distribution and home housekeeping aides to extend independent living for as long as possible. Service Coordinators Grant - Providing case management for elderly and disabled residents, wellness activities and nutrition programs.

FSS Service Coordinators Grant - Providing case management for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher clients who are participating in the Family Self-Sufficiency Program . AHA has entered into a partnership with DFACS to provide on-site staffing. This program will assist residents in complying with the requirements of welfare reform. AHA and DFACS also work closely together on the Welfare to Work and Family Unification Rental Assistance programs.

AHA, The Boys and Girls Club and the Richmond County Board of Education joined together to build and operate a Youth Athletic Center at Dogwood Terrace. This building is used during the school year by students at Levi White as a site for physical education classes. After school it will be used by the Boys and Girls Club and the Housing Authority will also use it for staff and resident activities. By pooling the resources of each partner a wonderful building is provided - and it will receive maximum use!

AHA is providing space for the JWC Helping Hands program at Dogwood Terrace, Augusta Taskforce for the Homeless the Oak Pointe Public, and Housing Community .Equal Opportunity Authority has Pathways childcare center and  Head Start programs in AHA locations and will have new administrative offices in Olmstead Homes
