Project Based Voucher Program

The Housing Authority of the City of Augusta, Georgia, (AHA) in partnership with Walton Communities, is announcing that the site-based waiting lists for the Project Based Voucher (PBV) Program units at The Legacy at Walton Green will be closed effective Monday, September 14, 2020, at 5:00 pm.

The Augusta Housing Authority will provide Project Based Voucher units for seniors ages 62 and up.  Until Monday, September 14, 2020, potential residents may complete an online application at, at which time AHA will close the site-based waiting list.  Preliminary Applications will be accepted electronically through our website.  Any individual, who needs an accommodation to complete an online application because of a disability, should contact 706-312-3121 for assistance or our TDD 706-724-0130.  AHA will assist in completing the preliminary applications online for those individuals who need such assistance.  A kiosk with a computer is also available for online applications in the lobby of our office located 1435 Walton Way, Augusta, Georgia 30901.

Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, effective today all inspections for the time period of 1/7/2021 through 1/22/2021 have been canceled to protect our staff, landlords/agents, and clients. At your earliest convenience, please contact your assigned case manager to reschedule the inspection(s) to a later date. In addition, re-inspections that are currently on the Inspection Calendar will not be abated during this time period. It is anticipated that AHA will begin conducting those previously scheduled re-inspections on 1/22/2021.
