Section 8 Availability

The following is a list of units in Richmond County that are available to Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher holders. These units are not pre-approved and any unit that you select will be required to pass an inspection. Please note that this list does not include every unit available to Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher holders, but rather the units that landlords have chosen to list.  The Augusta Housing Authority does not guarantee the accuracy of the units listed.  Please contact the owners/property managers for further information on these units.

The Housing Authority provides a FREE Unit Listing service for property owners to advertise their vacancies to Section 8 HCV participants.  The service is provided through a separate website by a company called GoSection8.

This list is updated biweekly on Mondays.

Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, effective today all inspections for the time period of 1/7/2021 through 1/22/2021 have been canceled to protect our staff, landlords/agents, and clients. At your earliest convenience, please contact your assigned case manager to reschedule the inspection(s) to a later date. In addition, re-inspections that are currently on the Inspection Calendar will not be abated during this time period. It is anticipated that AHA will begin conducting those previously scheduled re-inspections on 1/22/2021.
